Teresa Hendrickson
Pilates Instructor
Teresa was born and raised in Alaska and has been an athlete all her life. She has a love for movement and balance and enjoys challenging herself physically and mentally by competing in triathlons, various team sports, and even riding the velodrome.
A knee injury brought her to Pilates where she found a new passion and in 2003 she began an apprenticeship in Seattle. She was comprehensively trained in Stott Pilates, later she was certified with Michael Miller Pilates and Pilates Unlimited.
Teaching began a lifelong love of learning the classical Pilates method with world-renowned instructors. Currently, she's participating in the Romana Pilates certification program to further her training and education in the method.
Teresa's love of movement has led her to certifications in pre/postnatal fitness, indoor cycling, TRX suspension training, and steel mace.
Since 2004 Teresa has taught all over the metroplex, including Cooper fitness center, Equinox, Texas Instruments, Dallas Ballet Center, and has been a guest instructor in Costa Rica.
Pilates has helped Teresa recover from injuries and illnesses including a total knee replacement and most recently triple-negative breast cancer.
Teresa believes Pilates can benefit everyone regardless of age or ability, from professional athletes to those wanting to maximize their health and wellbeing.
